Mechanic Required

Our full service marina requires an experience mechanic for the 2013 season.

This position requires an individual who has a strong mechanical background who is confident in repairing and maintaining various equipment.

Experience with MERCURY and VOLVO outdrives as well as  marine  mechanic certification would be an asset.

June to September 2013

Part time positions: 1-2 days per week – Full time positions: 3-5 days per week – Each shift is 8 – 10 hours
Thursday to Monday will be the days requiring most staff.
Although not a requirement, we highly suggest taking advantage of our on-site accommodations.

The successful candidate must have the ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment where customer service is number one. They must possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude, be confident and have a true innovative spirit.
Rate of pay depends on experience. Experience is a definite asset, not a requirement.

HOUSEKEEPING POSITIONS

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Laundry; washing, folding and organizing linens
• Clean and restock houseboats between charters
• General clean up and maintenance of housekeeping area and adjacent docks

Beneficial Experience:
Housekeeping skills

DOCK HAND POSITIONS

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist clients in loading and unloading belongings
• Service boats between charters. ie: empty septic, refuelling, clean hot tubs & exteriors of boats, clean BBQ's, decks and replace propane bottles

Beneficial Experience:
Boater’s license, First Aid, Propane license
Experience pumping fuel, customer service

RETAIL STORE PERSONNEL POSITIONS

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Be responsible for sales in the Driftwood Store
• Keep accurate records of charge accounts, cash, debit and credit card payments and of inventory
• Assist in ordering inventory

Beneficial Experience:
Till experience, handling cash and change
Retail experience, Customer service

RESTAURANT PERSONNEL POSITIONS

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Customer service and till operation, handing cash/change
• Food prep
• Inventory control and ordering

Beneficial Experience:
Food Safe, First Aid
